As a result, each region had to find its own solutions for passenger transportation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"512\" data-end=\"916\">Local automobile repair plants (ARP) and auto enterprise workshops started constructing their own bus bodies on available chassis. Imported all-terrain chassis were chosen for bus construction, as they allowed for increased passenger capacity and better maneuverability in both urban and suburban areas.
