Lada vaz 2102E 21029 1/43 , In the early 80s of the last century, VAZ produced an experimental batch of electric cars based on the serial station wagon VAZ-2102. Moreover, the first such machine with the index 2102E (later replaced by 21029) was built back in 1976. The VAZ electric car was a closed two-door van with corrugated panels instead of rear windows, in 1979 the State Commission approved a promising development and recommended the car for assembly. In 1980-1981, a pilot batch (47 copies) of a pre-production car with the new designation 2801 was produced. The main batch of electric vehicles went to the Ukrainian SSR. Under the hood was a 380 kg nickel-zinc battery, powering a 25 kW (35 hp) electric motor. The power reserve was a pretty decent 130 km even by today’s standards, while the van, with a payload of 320 kg, reached a top speed of 87 km/h. Showcase, series 300 pcs.
